TAL-250K

Based on the novel optical scheme conceived by Yuri Klevtsov this telescope is a excellent choice for advanced amateurs demanding a portable telescope. TAL-250K is the largest Klevtsov for amateur astronomers and combines 10" aperture and 2130mm focal length in a tube just 450mm long. The revolutionary design features a small subaperture meniscus corrector placed in front of the Mangin secondary mirror. All the refractive alements are multicoated to acheive maximum light throughoutput and image brightness. The aperture, the focal length, the flat field and the excellent correction of coma, spherical abberation and astigmatism make TAL-250K a fine instrument for visual and photographic purposes. Every optical component is strictly tested. Interferograms for each optical system manufactured are being kept at the quality control department of NPZ. The telescope is mounted on a rigid equatorial mount complete with illuminated polar finder for quick and precise polar alignment, setting circles and RA motor drive that allows easy tracking of celestial objects and long photographic exposures. The mount can be also manually driven on both axes. Considering its size TAL-250K is an incredibly easy to use instrument that will meet the requirements of even the most demanding amateurs.

The standard equipment includes everything required to go beneath the stars - 8x50 finder, two multicoated 1.25" Super Plossl eyepieces - 25 and 10 mm, diagonal mirror, 2x Barlow lens, Moon filter and T2/M42 adapter.
