TAL-125R
TAL-125R is the largest refractor made by NPZ. Like its smaller counterpart - the TAL-100RS - the objective is multicoated airspaced achromatic doublet. The aperture is 125mm and the focal ratio is faster at f/8.9. The alluminium tube is precisely baffled to supress internal reflections and stray light making the views contrasty and crystal clear. The well corrected lens and the lack of central obstruction make this telescopes a fine choice for lunar and planetary observations. The focuser accepts 2" eyepieces for the low magnifications and wide fields needed for observations of nebulae, galaxies and star clusters. The telescope is mounted on a rigid equatorial mount complete with illuminated polar finder for quick and precise polar alignment, setting circles and RA motor drive that allows easy tracking of celestial objects and long photographic exposures. The mount can be also manually driven on both axes. The optical tube is attached to the mount with two solid alluminium tube rings with quick release clamps. The standard equipment includes everything required to go beneath the stars - 6x30 finder, two multicoated 1.25" Super Plossl eyepieces - 25 and 10 mm, diagonal mirror, 2x Barlow lens, Moon filter and T2/M42 adapter.
