The Intes Micro telescopes are highly demanded and not without reason - they all share the following features: excellent overall build quality, 95% reflectivity mirrors with protective overcoat, tested optics meeting the specifications stated on our website, multicoated meniscus corrector, smooth zero image shift focusing mechanism with moving primary mirror, fully baffled tube for maximum contrast and supressing of internal reflections, the back of the tube accepts the vast array of SC specific accessories, quick thermal equilibration thanks to the passive cooling system around the corrector and active tube cooling with a 12V fan, collimation is rarely needed but if for some reason you need to collimate both primary and secondary mirrors are fully adjustable, a carrying handle is attached to the tube for easy handling and mounting, with the optional 0.55x focal reducer the Intes Micro Maskutov-Cassegrains can be turned into an excellent astrophotography instruments for use with modern CCD and DSLR cameras.
M809 has enough aperture to perform well in any aplication of amateur astronomy - form the Moon to the galaxies. Its build quality makes it noticably superior to the ubiquitous 8" f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain. With a little care this scope could provide a lifetime enjoyment. The tube attaches to various mounts with the included Losmandy style dovetail.
